Mykhailo Dmytrovych Syrota, ardent patriot, one of the "fathers" of the Constitution of Ukraine, moderate politician and self-sacrificing defender of interests of Ukrainian nation, tragically perished on 25 August 2008, being 53 years old.
At all the posts and offices as a People´s Deputy of Ukraine of the Second, Third and Sixth Convocations, Head of the Labour Party of Ukraine, member of The Lytvyn Bloc Faction, First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Judicial Policy - Mykhailo Dmytrovych set a brilliant example of honesty, impartiality and responsibility.
A warm memory of Mykhailo Dmytrovych Syrota will remain in history of independent Ukraine and in the hearts of our compatriots forever.
